about Kieran

My background has been heavily influenced by my participation and interest in various sports.

This combined with spending many hours
under the care of therapists of different disciplines trying to work through various sports injuries and back problems has led me to persue a career in bodywork therapy.

I have a keen interest in the human body; how it functions, and what can be done to minimise the risk of injury and improve overall physical health.

As a health care professional my aim is to
examine each individual and develop a plan to promote the ability to restore full pain free function and movement, whether in daily life or in a sports and exercise capacity.

Frequently asked questions

  • What does a Neuromuscular Therapy treatment involve?
An initial consultation involves your NMT asking a series of questions to learn about your problem as well as filling out a detailed screening form. Based on these findings, your NMT will then ask you to perform certain movements to further diagnose the source and cause of your problem. During the initial assessment there is some hands-on treatment to relieve your pain/ dysfunction. You will also be prescribed some home exercises and given advice on how you can help speed up your recovery.
  • What should I wear to my appointment?
We advise that you wear comfortable and loose fitting clothes to your appointment. If your area of injury is in the lower limbs we recommend that you bring a pair of shorts.
  • Is there a Cancellation Policy?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least 24 hours notice. Please let me know as soon as possible via call or text, as this will allow me to offer this slot to another client as well as booking you in at the next suitable time slot. I appreciate you understanding the value of your appointment time. Thank you.
  • How long is a treatment?
Our treatments are 1 hour long. This involves an initial assessment at the start, carrying out the bodywork therapy and where applicable, showing you some exercises that can be done at home to assist with your recovery.
